*Postponed* Klingel Stewardship Series – Planting! (January 24)

January 24, 2022, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

*Event Postponed until Tuesday 1/25*

Due to an outpouring of support from volunteers over the weekend, GPC is postponing our tree planting events until Tuesday 1/25. We now have HALF of the plants in the ground. Thank you for your support in this enormous endeavor!

Planting Work Party!

GPC is restoring a native, climate-resilient plant community in vital salmon habitat by planting 5,000 native shrubs and trees in January 2022! We will be at our Klingel-Bryan-Beard Wetland Wildlife Refuge from January 21 everyday through January 30th, and we need your support to get these plants in the ground. Instruction in proper tree planting technique specific to this site will be provided at the beginning of the work party. Experts and novices welcomed!

Remember to dress in warm layers and pack rain gear. Bring a wheelbarrow if you have one!

Tools and snacks will be provided.

*Due to the latest state guidelines, we are now requiring all volunteers – regardless of vaccination status – to wear a mask for the duration of the event.*

When: Monday, January 24 from 9am to noon.

Where: Klingel-Bryan-Beard Wetland Wildlife Refuge, 2091 NE Highway 300 Belfair, WA 98528
