I’d like to take a moment to update you on Great Peninsula Conservancy’s plans to safely carry out our mission during these unprecedented times.
As COVID-19 protocols are implemented across the state and nation, we are following best practices for the health and well-being of our community members, partners, and staff. As such, all upcoming events are postponed, including stewardship work parties, Walk & Talk preserve tours, and the annual Spring Dinner on April 30th.
Please save the newly scheduled Spring Dinner date — Thursday, October 1st — on your calendar. We look forward to celebrating 20 years of conservation with you then under a harvest moon. A big thank you to all our Spring Dinner guests and generous community sponsors for your patience and support during this time.
In addition, Great Peninsula Conservancy has transitioned to remote meetings and most staff are working from home. For your reference, our staff list and emails are available here. Community connection is vital at times like this, and we encourage you to reach out with any questions or concerns.
In the next few weeks, I hope you are able to get some fresh air outside and find comfort in nature. As you know, spending time in green space really can improve your physical and mental health. As always, thank you for your continued support to protect our cherished lands and waters.
