Bird Walks with Melissa Sherwood

Bird walks are back! Join Melissa Sherwood at Sehmel Homestead Park on the third Wednesday of every month to walk, talk, and bird. Please call ahead if you can to let Melissa know you will be there: (253) 851-7230.
WHERE TO MEET: Sehmel Homestead Park. The group usually meets on the south side of the pavilion.
WHAT TIME: 8 -10 am
WHAT TO BRING: Please dress for the weather, and wear a pair of shoes you don’t mind walking in. Bring binoculars if you have them, or, when you call ahead, let Melissa know that you would like to borrow a pair.
NOTE: The group will stay on Sehmel Homestead Park’s trails, but some terrain is steep. The pace of the group is slow, but expect to walk a mile or so.
