About the event:

A smaller group means you’ll see and hear more! This special GPC Walk and Talk will be lead by field ornithologist Dan Froehlich from 8-10 am on the morning of Saturday, March 26th. Learn about the birds who call Hansville Greenway’s forests and wetlands home with a world-renowned expert. Bring your binoculars and your best birding questions!

  • The walk will be ~3 miles 
  • The terrain is flat and even.
  • Attendees will be selected by lottery and notified on Wednesday, March 23rd. Register today for the chance to attend this small-group special event!

About the event guide

Dan Froehlich is a field ornithologist and tour guide who is enthusiastic about expanding society’s comprehension of birds by understanding their biology, sharing their magnificence, and exploring human-wildlife interactions. Dan’s expertise in bird capture and handling have made him a valuable asset to many population dynamic and monitoring studies across the globe including North, Central, and South America, Europe, Siberia, West & East Africa, Madagascar, Borneo, and Australia!
