Newberry Woods Community Forest Walk
June 4 , 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Join GPC for a short and sweet community forest walk on Tuesday, June 4th at 5:30pm. This event is for folks in the direct Newberry Woods Community Forest area (Newberry Woods HOA members and residents, neighbors, Silverdale and Seabeck communities, etc.) to stroll through the forest with GPC staff and members of the Community Forest Advisory Team. There will be opportunities to learn about what a community forest is and about the upcoming events we have this year.
Meet at the parking area for Newberry Hill Heritage Park near Klahowya Secondary School on NW Newberry Hill Rd at 5:30pm. We will be going approximately 1.75 miles total (from the parking area to the viewpoint and back). Estimated time: 1 hour.
There is no RSVP for this event. This is not a structured Walk & Talk.
