August Walk and Talk Series (with Nate!)

August 7, 2019, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join new executive director Nate Daniel for an upcoming series of nature tours at GPC partner parks and properties! At each location Nate will lead a short guided walk, share some information about the flora and fauna, and take an opportunity to learn more about your questions and concerns for the future of Great Peninsula Conservancy!

All tours take place on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. and will start in the parking lots listed below.  You can click on the location below to learn more about the property’s history and ecological value.

August 7th: Ueland Tree Farm
  • The Ueland Tree Farm Walk and Talk will meet at the main parking lot off Lebers Lane NW.
  • Estimated distance of walk: 1.5 miles round trip
  • 6:30-7:30 p.m.
August 14th: Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park
  • The Port Gamb.e Forest Heritage Park Walk and Talk will meet in the east parking lot off 104.
  • Estimated distance of walk: .5-1 mile
  • 6:30-7:30 p.m.
August 21st: Banner Forest Heritage Park
  • The Banner Forest Heritage Park Walk and Talk will meet in the parking lot off Banner Road SE.
  • Estimated distance of walk: .5-1 mile
  • 6:30-7:30 p.m.
What to bring:
  • Water
  • Comfortable shoes
  • Trekking poles (if you like using them)
  • Lots of questions for Nate Daniel!
