Misery Point Preserve Ribbon Cutting

Join GPC and Leadership Kitsap for a ribbon cutting celebration of our Misery Point Preserve! We will be celebrating the launch with a ceremonial ribbon cutting, and performances from violinists Cedar Wolf and Livvy Rowley, and poet Ching-in Chen. Stick around to explore the preserve, and learn from staff members stationed at points of interest to interpret some of the site’s unique ecological and geological features.
When: Saturday, April 30th from 12pm until 2pm.
Directions: Misery Point Preserve
Parking at the end of Misery Point Road NW; non-motorized boats like kayaks are welcomed and can land right on the beach.
Overflow parking at the Seabeck Boat Launch with a Discover Pass.
Weather: We will be there rain or shine! We suggest bringing warm layers and rain gear in case of rain.
