2018 Spring Dinner at Kiana Lodge

Join members and friends for Great Peninsula Conservancy’s 8th Spring Dinner, This fundraising event will be held at beautiful and historic Kiana Lodge. All proceeds benefit Great Peninsula Conservancy’s work to preserve natural habitats, rural landscapes, and open spaces of the Great Peninsula of west Puget Sound. Guests will enjoy a program including recognition of project partners and a special tribute to Conservation Award recipient, Kate Kuhlman, who has shown exceptional leadership and commitment to conservation.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Nick Zentner, Professor of Geology at Central Washington University. Perhaps better known by fans of his PBS series as “Nick on the Rocks,” Nick Zentner has been a professor of Geology since 1992. Nick’s enthusiasm for teaching was nationally recognized in 2015 when he received the prestigious James Shea Award, given for exceptional teaching of Earth Sciences to the public.
