Annual Community Events
Clear Creek Trail is more than a scenic pathway – it’s a hub for community connection! Each year, we host a variety of volunteer events that bring neighbors together to care for this cherished trail. From invasive plant removal and trail maintenance to seasonal clean-ups and restoration projects, these events are a great way to get outdoors, meet like-minded individuals, and make a lasting impact. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or new to conservation efforts, everyone is welcome to join. Your participation helps ensure Clear Creek Trail remains a vibrant, well-maintained space for all to enjoy. Check out our upcoming events page and be a part of the effort to keep this community treasure thriving!
Adopt A Trail
Support the Clear Creek Trail by adopting a section of the trail! By committing to regular trail maintenance and repairs, you’ll help preserve these treasured pathways for all to enjoy. Adoption duties include picking up litter, trimming brush, mowing, leaf cleanup, invasive plant control, and reporting any damage or vandalism.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals, families, businesses, and community groups to connect with nature, give back to the community, and leave a lasting impact. Together, we can ensure our trails remain safe, beautiful, and accessible for generations to come.
Organizations that currently steward sections of the Clear Creek Trail: Kiwanis Club of Silverdale (special thanks to Phil Shoemaker and Bob Schlote!) and Silverdale Sunrise Lions.
Organizations that have adopted a section of trail in the past include: Command Submarine Group 9, Kitsap Atheists and Agnostics, Boy Scouts of America, Naval Operation Support Center, Jeff Reed All State Insurance, and the USCG Sea Devil Crew.
